SHAKESPEARE TRIVIA NIGHT
A benefit for Enso Theatre Ensemble
WHEN: Tuesday July 9th from 7p - 10p
WHERE: My Father's Place 523 SE Grand Ave. Portland, OR
What Shakespeare play is "Ten Things I Hate About You" based on?
Who's famous for saying "To be or not to be?"
How much do you know about Shakespeare's "lost plays"?
Whether your copy of the Bard's collected works is collecting dust in your grandmother's attic, or whether your copy is held together with duct tape (like ours), come "eat, drink and be merry" at our Shakespeare Trivia Night!
Open to all ages.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
~Delicious food & drink from My Father's Place
~Questions ranging from Shakespeare in pop culture to nitty gritty footnotes (you might be surprised at how much about the bard you actually know!)
~Scenes from Shakespeare performed right in front of you!
~TOP PRIZE: 2 Free Tickets to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival
~High amounts of merriment and tomfoolery.
COVER CHARGE: $10, purchase here.
All proceeds from the event will support Enso Theatre Ensemble, a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to making and teaching theater with mindfulness. Our mission is to create a new generation of artists grounded in mindfulness techniques that will foster a sustainable, balanced creative life.
Enso's next project is an innovative, feminist adaptation of "Much Ado About Nothing". A comedy with all the drama, romance and absurdity of a house party...in an actual house.
