Watch your child light up as they discover the joy of theater and embark on a magical journey. Teacher Caitlin and her invisible friend, The Word Elf (an invisible Elf that LOVES words!) leave clues that introduce new theater games and activities, culminating in a final Theater Showcase to present to friends and family. At the end of each class, students find the hidden "Word" or "Letter of the Week" that the Word Elf has left for them! Favorite theater activities include:
1. "The Three Little Bears" Song
2. Build-A-Story Obstacle Course
3. Create-Your-Own Script
4. Movement & Dance
5. Red-Nose Clowning
Our students focus on creating their own stories in a Beginning, Middle and End narrative, defining their "Clown" character, saying "Yes...and!" to other students ideas, and learning to read and write new words!
This Summer our theme is:

Her energy, open-heart, and boundless creativity makes Caitlin Lushington pure magic. It is very evident that this class is a manifestation of her heart. I am so thankful she has created a place where my son can let his imagination run free.
In his own words, "I just love it. So much. I love Caitlin. I love playing the games. I love the words. I just love it Mom!"
"I like to call Caitlin "The Child Whisperer." She instantly put my daughter at ease with her creativity, wit, and ability to make learning fun and exciting. She has an amazing enthusiasm for educating children and it shines through in the development of those she works with."
~ Stephanie, parent
"Word Elf has been a wonderful opportunity for our children to experience their own creativity. They have become more confident and more skilled in communicating their own feelings. Caitlin has fostered an environment of empathy and acceptance, and I would recommend this class to all. "
The Word Elf is from an incredible place filled with adventures called The Magical World of FAN (Fantastical Areas of Invention). In this magical world you can be anyone and do anything. The only rules are:
1. Have fun!
2. Be nice!
3. Try something new!
4. YES! AND....
The Magical World of Fan is an interactive podcast for the young adventurer. Ask your young explorers to listen and play along as we travel, discover, make funny noises and learn new words with Caitlin and her invisible friend, The Word Elf.
