Meet Me at the Edge of the World

BY MICHAEL LUSHINGTON
DIRECTED BY PARKER CALLAIS
ABOUT THE PLAY
After the death of his sister, Arden, Winston finds himself in a car crossing the country with his friends: a ticking time bomb, an open book, a determined pessimist and a hitchhiker that throws a wrench into their plans. Moving swiftly between witty banter and revelations (as only six days in a car with five teenagers can do), Meet Me at the Edge of the World is a new play that asks if we can be present and truly care for someone without insisting on an outcome for them.

THE ENSEMBLE

Parker CALLAIS (Director)

Parker is extremely excited to be directing a show with Enso Theatre Ensemble. After training at the Isinglass Egg Theatre Intensive during the summer of 2017, she has hit the ground running, working on shows and gaining a well-rounded theatre education. She has been seen working onstage and off at her high school and local theatres in Portland. She has been most recently seen assistant directing Care of Trees at Enso and performing in Short in The Wire at Wilson High School. Upcoming projects include directing and producing a series of student written microplays at Wilson.

Faye Leverman (ELLIS)  is a Freshman at Cleveland High School. She is working towards a job in the STEM field. Previous favorite roles include both Romeo and Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet." Faye is very happy to be a part of a fantastic production.

Lucy Devlaeminck (STAGE MANAGER)
is an actress, stage manager, make up artist, and sketch artist. Some of her favorite roles include a Witch in "Macbeth", Lady Montague in "Romeo & Juliet", Fearlandia, and as a chorus member in "Shrek the Musical" and "Once Upon A Mattress". She's also done makeup for "The Lion King" and "A Midsummer Nights Dream". She hopes you enjoy the show!

Lucia Doyle (LOU)  has been doing theatre since 5th grade when she got cast as Goldilocks in (you guessed it) "Goldilocks." Since then, she has done 1-2 productions a year (usually a play and a musical) and realized just how much she loves theatre.  She enjoys singing and dancing - basically anything you could find on a stage. She thinks there’s just something incredible about creating something emotional out of words and directions printed on a piece of paper. She is so excited about this production, and can't wait to keep working on it!
Picture
Eleison Battilega (WINSTON) is an actor and an avid D&D player. Some of his favorite roles include Fagan in Oliver Twist, one of the "little monsters" in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof", and Daisy from "Baby With the Bathwater." He's very happy to be playing "Winston" and to be part of this ensemble.
Picture
Annabel Cummings (ARDEN) is a freshman at Cleveland High School. She is excited and honored to be playing Arden. She has worked in other productions with her school such as String Bean in "No Strings Attached." She will be playing the role of Hero in the upcoming production of "Too Much A-Due" at Cleveland.
Picture
Kayden Cummings (JAMES) is an agender actor and a student mentor of French. Some of their favorite roles include the chorus in "Legally Blonde" and the ensemble for "The Wizard of Oz". They are currently designing costumes and set for "Loveless Life" (working title). They'd like to thank their friends and family for being supportive.

Gracie Dotson (DALLAS) is so excited to be apart of this amazing show! This is her second production with Enso Theatre Ensemble, and she is grateful for all of the opportunities the company has given her. She would like to thank her wonderful mother Holly for all of the rides to and from rehearsals.
