What is this elusive thing called “presence” and how do we find it? Certified Global Somatics(TM) Practitioner Peyton McCandless will give you tools and techniques to awaken the innate intelligence of your own body so you can bring greater spontaneity, presence, and authenticity to your performances. You will also leave with some self-care tips for particularly challenging roles and shows. Actors, singers, dancers, performers of all experience levels welcome! If you would like to work with her one-on-one, you can do so with a suggested cash donation if any amount that feels appropriate to you. Open to ages 16+ |
High School to College:
Making A Mindful Transition with Peace in Schools |
It can be challenging knowing what to do when you have so many options in front of you. You may not know what you want and there may be fear around making the "right" decision. This workshop is about finding your truth and feeling grounded when you look to the future. Yes, change can be scary AND every single one of us has the ability to breathe, come back to a place of center, and connect with our authentic selves. In this workshop, you'll learn how to access that place of power so that the choices you make are made with a deep understanding of who you are and what you want.
