ABOUT THE PLAY
Why is connection so important and what are the lengths people will go to for a beautiful, tiny shard of it? Ranging from a school’s nurse’s office at the age of 8 all the way to an empty ice rink at the age of 38, the lives of Kayleen and Doug intersect at the most bizarre intervals, leading the two childhood friends to compare scars and the physical calamities that keep drawing them together. A play with scars, vomit, and clammy hands. |

THE ENSEMBLE
Kieran Gettel-Gilmartin (DIRECTOR) is super excited to be making his directing debut with Enso! Kieran is primarily an actor, a sometimes playwright, and a first time director--and he couldn't be more happy, nervous, amazed, and thankful. Kieran is a Junior at Wilson high school, and a young professional at Oregon Children's theatre and most recently performed in DNA with them. He has a portland area musical theatre award for outstanding young performer as Michael Banks in Northwest Children's Theatre's production of Mary Poppins (2014) as well as a Troscar for best leading actor as Gibson/Mr. Burns in Mr. Burns with the Wilson theatre company: Southwest Stageworks. He thanks Caitlin and Jordan for giving him this opportunity and leading and teaching him along the way, his family for always supporting him, Parker for inspiring him to take up directing through Enso, and Dani, Matt, and Miller for teaching him. He hopes to see you at the show!
Nico Vilches (SOUND DESIGN) is delighted to be working with Enso Theatre Ensemble! This is his first time sound designing and composing for a show. Music is what got him into theatre in the first place and he is ecstatic to be incorporating this love for music in a new way! He would like to thank his family for their continued support and Kieran for trusting him!

Kate Daley (KAYLEEN) is filled with excitement to make her debut with Enso! She is a junior at Cleveland High School and a Young Professional at Oregon Children’s Theater. Her recent performances include Brianna in the Drammy-winning production of “Good Kids” (OCT Young Professionals Company) and the post-Broadway premiere of “Groundhog Day“ (Stagedoor Manor). She is eternally grateful for her family, Dani, and everyone at Enso who has supported her throughout this process!
Kayden Cummings (STAGE MANAGER) was last seen as an actor in Meet Me at the Edge of the World with Enso Theatre. They have also performed in a number of shows at Cleveland High School, including Legally Blonde the Musical, Loveless Life, and Scribbleface. This is their stage management debut and are very excited to be part of this production.
This is Esme Fife-Adam's (PROPS MASTER) first time working as part of tech instead of acting, and they are so excited to be able to learn and grow with Enso! A student at ACMA, Esme has performed recently as Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret, Agnes in Agnes of God, and Hamlet in Hamlet. When they're not acting, Esme enjoys writing stories and songs, singing, and obsessing over psychology and Shakespeare. You can find them on Instagram and YouTube at @esmeybemusic. They wish anyone reading this a good day.
