Brynn Baron has appeared in countless Los Angeles, Austin and Portland theatre productions over the last thirty years since getting her B.F.A. from UCLA. Some of her favorite roles have been Dona Inez in "Don Juan Tenorio" in the first Actor's Gang production in L.A., Babe in "Crimes of the Heart" at the Gem Theatre in Garden Grove, CA. and Helena in "A Midsummer's Night's Dream" with Will and Company in Santa Monica. But it's possible she still hasn't come down from the adrenaline rush after doing two different Vertigo/Anonymous Theatre productions here in Portland (Lady Bracknell in "The Importance of Being Earnest" and "The Dentist" segment of "The Good Doctor") as well as with Sojourn Theatre. Aside from being a veteran of many webisodes, commercials, infomercials, industrials, she's appeared on TV ("Sidney Sheldon's Rage of Angels", "Leverage" "Face Value" and others) and featured in film - "One From The Heart" "Monster Squad", "Mr. Holland's Opus" and "Untraceable" among others, as well as so many indie full-length and short movies she's literally lost track of them all. She was nominated as OMPA's "Best Actress" for the 2014 Oregon Actor Awards, and was presented with a Lana Veenker Casting Award. She is also an award-winning writer, theatre director, and ceramic artist.

COMPOSER:
Logan Anderson is a 28 year-old musician and producer aiming to create music for film and television. An emphasis on rhythm, piano, guitar, and vocal harmony is threaded throughout his work, and—though it’s difficult to pin his music to any single genre—listeners will at times draw comparisons to a variety of indie rock acts while other times being reminded of soaring thematic soundtracks to their favorite movies.
Logan's initial interest in music began with the drum set at the age of 13. That same year he started writing music on a Yamaha keyboard, using stock instruments, but came to realize he was restricted by the limited prescribed options. This motivated him to learn or even make the instruments himself in order to achieve the organic quality he was after. “I soon discovered that experimenting and creating my own sounds allowed me to produce the dynamic energy I desired in a song.”
Rather than adhering to a specific recipe, Logan’s music portrays life’s beauty and chaos in varied audial scenes ranging from majestic landscapes to bustling city streets. He hopes to compose for the screen and help tell its visual stories through music with inspiration from big names such as Hans Zimmer and Thomas Newman, and his wide range of offerings exemplify this goal. “I have a constant creative itch,” says Logan. “I write for the sake of art. When I have an idea for a song I let it go where it needs to go—I don’t worry about forcing it to sound a certain way according to what I’ve done before.”
This philosophy is reflected on Logan’s two self-released albums, Nomad, the debut effort in 2014 that offered the first glimpse into his creativity and experimentation, and The Company, which displays a matured focus and production, aided by a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2015.
Logan currently lives in Ashland, Oregon, and is accompanied by his wife, Hanna (vocals, strings) and his friend Dave Hart on guitar. His music can be found on Pandora, Spotify, and iTunes.

CHOREOGRAPHER:
Julie Lushington is the kind of person who would rather weed than read. She has always been happier in movement than in stillness. So signing her up for dance lessons at age 4 was probably a good choice by her parents. And when she started to show some respectable talent in that area, especially modern dance, her parents had no choice but to support her decision to pursue a degree in dance at U.C. Berkeley. When Julie boarded a plane to New York after graduation, her parents heartily waved good-bye, masking any possible misgivings they might have been feeling. But she survived 11 years in the Big Apple performing and touring with two modern dance companies, and, in the end, earned her Masters degree at NYU in movement education.
Since moving back to California, she has taught Pilates for rehabilitation at the Saint Francis Memorial Hospital, Dancemedicine division, and at Turning Point Studios in Walnut Creek. She has also taught anatomy/kinesiology for dancers at Mills College and at San Jose State University.
Julie has also had the good fortune of sharing her love of movement with the young actors of Castro Valley Dramatic Arts Academy in California. She has been choreographing "movement pieces" for CVDAA since its inception in 2003 for both middle and high school actors. And now she has the honor of adding "Pride and Prejudice" to her list of choreographic endeavors. Thank you, Caitlin.

Her next endeavor will be to create, and run after-school program for training production crew. Recently Isabele produced and directed her first out of school production, The Vagina Monologues. She hopes to make a career out of theater management, and is thrilled to be starting down that path with Enso.

WHAT MAKES THIS ADAPTATION DIFFERENT?
This is an ensemble-driven piece, which means that the actors are the onstage the entire show, constantly supporting, watching, and listening. With minimal set and costume, we allow the audience’s imagination to fill in the gaps, and create an experience in which the audience is no longer passive: they are actively telling the story with us. We are creating a space in which actors and audience are on a journey to discover what it means to breathe, fight through our pride and prejudice, and simply be with another human being. |
